Obituary of George Harold Knott

KNOTT – George Harold of St Thomas passed away peacefully with family at his side at the St Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Friday, November 8, 2024 at the age of 88.  Beloved husband of Susan Monaghan-Knott.  George will be missed by children the late Sherry Fancy and her family and Sandra Lloy and family; blended family Lori Limbrick and family, Denise Esson and family, David Esson and family and by several Monaghan family members.  George was in the Navy as a radar technician and also work in a bank.  He was an avid fisherman, golfer, gardener and was devoted to animals and nature.  Arrangements entrusted to Simplicity Cremation, 203-750 Talbot Street, St Thomas (226-210-1086).  A celebration of life and interment of ashes to be held at a later date.  If desired, donations can be made to Animal Aide, Hospice of Elgin or the St Thomas-Elgin General Hospital.  Personal online condolences can be made at www.simplicity-cremation.ca
