Obituary of Brock Louis Dautner

DAUTNER - Brock Louis of St. Thomas.  It is with great sadness we announce that on Sunday, September 8, 2024 Brock (Age 30) passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital with his mother & father by his side.  Brock will be dearly missed by his mother Darlene Howard; his father David Dautner; by his sister Hilary Dautner; by his aunts and uncles Dawn Howard, Jeff Howard, Brett Howard, Sharon (Andy) Wyles and Jodi (Jason) Edmondson; and by his cousins Lynsey Reniewick, Eric Wiles, Craig Danciu and Ian Edmondson.  From the moment he came into our lives, Brock filled our hearts with immeasurable love & laughter.  Anyone that knew Brock, knew his passion for sports (since he was 3 years old) and getting into a wee bit of trouble with his friends.  He will always be remembered for his smile & mischievous antics.  When Brock wasn't up to mischief, he was making more friends where he worked at North Star Windows & Doors in St. Thomas (and most likely, getting into more mischief).  Please join us on Saturday, October 5, 2024 for a celebration of life in Pinafore Park (95 Elm Street, St. Thomas) at the "Street Railway Shelter" Pavilion, from 1-3pm (beside the children's play area on the little hill).  Parking available right in front of the pavilion.  The family asks that in lieu of flowers, to please make a donation in Memory of Brock, to either the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital where all the staff were amazing to him, or to KidSport Canada, providing the opportunity for all kids to play sports.  Links below.
