Obituary of Joe Mezenberg

MEZENBERG – Josephus Antonius “Joe” After a courageous battle with cancer Joe is with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Loving husband of Margie.  Devoted father of John (Sheri), Samantha (predeceased 1980).  Proud papa of Jacob (Taylor), Kayla (Andrew), Hunter, Katharina.  Cherished Great Grandchildren, Marryjane, Vienna, Hezekiah.  Dear brother of Ann Donkers (Bill), Harry (2023) Betty, Jerry Mezenberg (Josie), Dina Koolen (John), Cathy Wathy (Joe), Tony Mezenberg (Sharon), Peter Mezenberg (Cathy), Hank Mezenberg (Mary Jane), Josina McCulloch (Jim) and Andrea King (Dave) and his sister-in-law Betsy Rombouts (Frank).  Predeceased by his parents Anton Mezenberg (1958) and Katherine (Van Dyk) (2001), brother John (1972). Infant sister Antonia.  Joe is survived by his brother and sister inlaws Esther Wakerall (2021), Fred (2018) Chris, Jerry (1971) (Pam), Ron (1997) (Darlene 2022), Marvin (Barb) Kelso, Bonnie (2024), Nancy (Angus) McIntosh, Elaine (Ron) Sharpe, Carolyn Madsen, Gloria (John Fisher 2017), Roger (2003) (Shirley), Rose (Wayne) Lumley.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, Friends and Church Family.  Arrangements entrusted to Simplicity Cremation 125-750 Talbot Street, St Thomas (226-210-1086).  Cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held at the West Elgin Living Water Pentecostal Church, 9094 Graham Road, West Lorne on Monday, September 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.  If desired, donations can be made to West Elgin Living Water Pentecostal Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.  Personal online condolences can be made at www.simplicity-cremation.ca
