Obituary of Eric M'Creadie

M’CREADIE – Eric of St Thomas passed away peacefully at his home with family at his side on Friday, August 30, 2024 at the age of 86. Loving partner of Lois Hornby for the past 16 years and survived by his daughter Cheryl Saunders of St. Thomas and his grandchildren Erica-Lin Voisin (Rob) and Michelle Farquhar (Julie); great grandchildren Bailey, Madison, Stanley, Norah and Wesley. He held family in his heart where time and space could not - Cath, Chels, Rach and Matt. Survived by family in Blackpool England who loved his visits and calls, he will be missed dearly there by the Stanfields. Also by his many friends back in Canada that knew the special person he was and what he brought to this world - Jeff, Trevor, Kevin, Henry, and many more. Eric is predeceased by his sister Elizabth Silkstone and his former wife, Noreen M’Creadie (nee Stansfield) (2020), he is survived by his son Neil M’Creadie.  Arrangements entrusted to Simplicity Cremation, 125-750 Talbot Street, St Thomas (226-210-1086).
