Obituary of Muriel Stavert

STAVERT - I. Muriel (nee. Ferguson) of St Thomas passed away peacefully at Extendicare, Port Stanley on Friday, December 8, 2023 at the age of 92.  Beloved wife of the late Daniel Orr Stavert (2019).  Muriel is survived by her daughters Lesley (Chris) Egan of Orleans, Ann (Trevor) Haight of West Kelowna BC, Isobel Stavert (Steve Meneley) of St. Thomas, Sheila (Mike) Schneider of Bancroft.  Grandmother to Daniel (Lauren) Cook, Maggie Spears (Cook), Andrew (Katie) Schneider, Kyle (Robin) Lawrence, Fiona (Daniel) Been, Nicholas Haight, Colin (Sarah) Haight, and 7 great grandchildren.  A special thank you to the staff at Extendicare, Port Stanley for their exceptional care of Muriel.  Arrangements entrusted to Simplicity Cremation 125-750 Talbot Street, St Thomas, N5P 1E2 (226-210-1086).  Cremation has taken place.  There will be a private family service only.  If desired, donations can be made to Knox Presbyterian Church.  Personal online condolences can be made at www.simplicity-cremation.ca
