Obituary of Dawn Sutton
Reverend Dawn Marie Sutton, 71, of Oakville Ontario, passed away on February 15, 2026 in the comfort of her home. She lived a successful life, full of love, happiness, and joy, while being passionate about sharing the love of the Lord with others.
Dawn was born on March 10, 1954 in Toronto, Ontario. She proudly graduated from Ryerson University with a Masters in Social Work, and was a family and Christian counsellor, as well as a social worker, helping kids and families. Even after retiring, she offered advice to people at the church, neighbours, family, and friends. She was always caring, helpful, and had great advice for what life threw at you, and did it all with a smile on her face.
Dawn enjoyed her time alone when family wasn't around, but filled that gap with her love for dogs and cats. She had multiple dogs throughout her life, that she adored and loved, and I know now she is catching up with them in heaven.
Some of Dawn's favourite activities were traveling, watching Jeopardy, exploring antiques shops, trying new food, angels collectibles, playing snooker, and a recently adored hobby of art beading. She loved it so much, she created an art gallery's worth.
Dawn is survived by her sister Donna, brother Frank, both sons Daniel and Joshua, and her granddaughter, Robin.
She will be forever missed by all those that she’s left behind. Our hearts are broken by this loss as she was one of a kind, and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed.
Cremation has taken place, with arrangements entrusted to Simplicity Cremation, 203-750 Talbot St, St. Thomas ON.
