Eleanor, you were something else. I remember the first time she walked into the shop, looking to get tattooed. Sparkling sequence jacket, gems all bedazzled in her hat, she looked like Cyndi Lauper. And I remember thinking, damn this lady is a fire cracker. Then I realized, she didn't just look the part ,she lived it. She had the energy level that would rivel a 20 year old. Over the years she told me about her dance classes, swimming, volunteering, taught herself how to play the ukulele, started a band, played shows (even got her band logo The Old Fockers tattooed on her thigh) . She always said "this will be last one", and in about 5 months I would see her again. One of the last pieces I did for her was adding more butterflies to her leg. I was just looking at it the other day in my photos, and it made me chuckle. I will never forget you Ely, keep on sparkling.
