Obituary of Myrtle Violet Hopf

HOPF – Myrtle Violet Luella (nee Neff) passed away peacefully, at home with her husband, on Thursday, December 25, 2025 at the age of 88.  Beloved wife of Ronald Hopf for 69 years.  Myrtle will be missed by her children Ronda (Scott) Evans, Robert (Maria) Hopf; by her grandchildren Sara Evans, Courtney Evans, Mariah Hopf, predeceased by Rick Hopf; siblings Ronald Neff, predeceased by Neil Neff, Ruby Greer, Muriel Phillips, Edna Donald, Harvey Neff, Velma Monette; and by several nieces and nephews. Myrtle farmed tobacco for many years and in her spare time enjoyed gardening and baking. A special thanks to the staff at Talbot Manor and STEGH for the compassionate care provided. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simplicity Cremation 750 Talbot Street, Suite 203, St.Thomas (226-210-1086).
