Obituary of Christopher John Manherz

MANHERZ - Christopher John of St. Thomas passed away peacefully on July 16th, 2025, at the age of 65.  Beloved husband of Karen Ann Manherz.  Chris is survived by children Kevin (Karen), and Kristine (James); grandchildren Aiden, Kaylee, Ivan, Ashley, and Reuben; siblings Marianne Anderson (predeceased), and Carol Van Der Velde. Predeceased by his parents John & Mary Margaret and by several nieces and nephews. Chris was employed by Accuride, where he retired at the age of 55. He was hard working and always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.  

Thank you to all the wonderful staff at University Hospital, especially our family & friends for all your support during this difficult time.  

There will not be a funeral service as per his wishes.
